Hi guys! This is going to be another travel post from my Paris trip. I'll be sharing about my travel experiences from the beautiful city of Lisbon soon! Hope these posts do not bore you, I really want to share our photographs from our travels on my blog.
Place des Vosges which was originally known as Place Royale is not really in the spotlight of tourism in Paris but I think it's such a serene place to hang around. A charming and historical architectural gem in the district of Le Marais. This idyllic little square is the perfect getaway from the maddening crowd in Paris. After visiting the Bastille market, which I enjoyed visiting because they were selling so any fresh flowers, we headed to Place des Vosges to relax. It was quiet a romantic place to enjoy with your partner as you can have a nice picnic near the fountain.
Paris does not only offer visitors shopping centers and museums. Inspired by Parisian culture, the parks are some of the best places you can visit in Paris. Tuileries and Luxembourg gardens are arguably some of the biggest and most beautiful parks in Paris that you must visit. They are oasis in the midst of a bustling city life filled with incredible scenery. In these gardens, you'll find beautiful fountains, man-made lakes, lovely tree lined paths, and blooming flowers that are always enchanting to see.
A must see building in Paris is the Notre Dame Cathedral. The church is truly remarkable because of its amazing architecture and history. I was in awe when I first saw it, I've seen many churches before but nothing compares to the Gothic architecture of this building. Take note: I haven't seen Basílica de la Sagrada Família in Barcelona. Notre-Dame was beautifully structured and it took many years of hard work and delicate planning for it to be completed. The church is really impressive inside and outside. It may not be the largest or as large as the other cathedrals in the world but it surely is one of the most beautiful sacred place you can visit.
