The title is a bit confusing, isn't it? Let me explain my story. (sounds so serious, lol) I have found the one! Can you feel my excitement guys? The backstory behind this? I wash my hair everyday! I know what you're thinking, "You're damaging your hair, lady!". I know, I know......Anyway, I've found a hair savior! Here comes *drumroll* "Lush No Drought dry shampoo"! Now, I can manage not to wash my hair forever! Just kidding. :D
I always feel like my hair is oily, therefore, I can't go on more than a day without washing it. I wash my hair with shampoo everyday which I'm pretty sure many of the hair experts would oppose to.Thank goodness for conditioners or else my hair would have been super dry by now. Luckily, I found a product I love! I've tried dried shampoos in the past but only in aerosol form. I know many loves the dry shampoos from Batiste, but I truly hated those. I hate the feeling of aerosol sprays on my hair. It does not feel comfortable and I just don't feel fresh and clean. Lush Dry Shampoo is in a powder form and I like it more than aerosols. This keeps my hair from being oily for atleast a day or two and it has a subtle citrus scent. I bought this for around $14, not cheap but more affordable than the Bumble & Bumble Pret a Powder. I also wonder if a baby powder would work on my hair as well, I'm going to try using it on my hair. The only downside of this product is the packaging. Lush, you guys could have pack this better in a more practical way. It's so hard to control the amount of product that comes out of the lid. Sometimes, I pour way too much powder and it goes to waste.
Nowadays, because of this dry shampoo, I only wash my hair every other day. Now, that is still a frequent washing for some people but it's one step to keep my hair healthier since I don't strip its natural oil completely. I still prefer to wash my hair everyday but this product is so convenient. I would still wash my hair day by day when I feel like it. This dry shampoo saves me a lot of time on some days that I even get to curl my hair. When I used to wash my hair everyday, I didn't have time to curl my hair because it takes time to dry it. If I use a hair blower and then a curling wand, I will be abusing my hair with these hot tools. I'm glad I am now doing something good for my hair!
Have you tried this product before? Do you use dry shampoos? What are your favourites?
