Paris Trip: Luxembourg and Tuileries Gardens

Paris does not only offer visitors shopping centers and museums. Inspired by Parisian culture, the parks are some of the best places you can visit in Paris. Tuileries and Luxembourg gardens are arguably some of the biggest and most beautiful parks in Paris that you must visit. They are oasis in the midst of a bustling city life filled with incredible scenery. In these gardens, you'll find beautiful fountains, man-made lakes, lovely tree lined paths, and blooming flowers that are always enchanting to see.

The Tuileries Garden

The Tuileries Garden or Jardin des Tuileries in French  is ideally located in very close proximity to the Louvre, Place de la Concorde and not too far from the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. This park provides a great respite to all these busy tourist attractions. A really great place to walk through or stop and rest after taking in the Louvre. It was also close to Angelina which I tracked down for their decadent hot chocolate drink which happens to be located across the street from the park.

We were here in early September and we were fortunate to have a sunny weather. It was nice to see some people relaxing in the park. My boyfriend and I had a romantic walk. <3 The park has tons of seats, a big beautiful pond in the middle where ducks are peacefully swimming, several art sculptures and different kind of plants and flowers. These all create the perfect environment to take your time to breathe, enjoy the sun while recuperate after the hours spent sight seeing.

The Jardin des Tuileries is free and accessible. It is open daily during the summer from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., in the spring and fall from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and in winder from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Luxembourg Gardens

On our last day, we finished off our Paris trip by visiting The Luxembourg Gardens. The park is situated in the border between Saint-Germain-des-PrĂ©s and the Latin Quarter around the Sixth Arrondissement of Paris. We stayed there for few hours to relax and just take in the view. This place was so lovely and a fun place to watch people and enjoy the outdoors. It was also the perfect place to rest after walking for the whole day!

The park has spacious lawns, fountains and ponds with comfortable convenient seating that allow you to contemplate the beauty and tranquility of this wonderful gem amidst the busy neighborhood of Paris. A really wonderful park to visit, so peaceful and quiet as you can wander around and admire the surrounding historic buildings. There were many security guards around which makes the place a secure and safe park.

The park opens between 7.30am and 8.15am, and closes between 4.30pm and 9.30pm according to season.

Places to sit and people watch are combined with soft walking paths and lovely foliage.

Tuileries and Luxembourg are both wonderful parks that you have to visit. These beautiful gardens provide the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll. They are a place for everything as you can read, sleep, eat, walk, jog, ride a bike, enjoy the weather and meet people. It was such a pleasure to photograph these places Paris!
