A little Kiko haul

When I was in Paris, I had the chance to visit a KIKO store. I was walking with my bf to see the Paris City Hall when I spotted the cosmetic shop! I heard so many good things about this makeup brand from my fellow bloggers in Europe and I was really excited to see how their products look like in person. And so, I looked at my boyfriend with my "puppy eyes" (btw, a trick that always work) and asked him to come with me and check out the store with a promise that I'm not going to buy anything. I couldn't keep that promise (lol), I did a little haul.  How could I not? The store was so inviting, and oh golly, they have a huge selection of beauty products. I didn't buy many because I had to consider the little space we have in our luggage but I'm glad with the makeups I was able to bring home.

These are the items I got:

Soft Light Powder in 03 Medium Beige (11.90€) : This reminds me of a product that I  really like. My all time favourite face powder is MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powder but that stuff is quite expensive so I haven't bought it in awhile. I've been using my Estee Lauder double wear foundation and I don't really need to set it up with powder but now I'm glad I found one I can pair with my other lighter foundations. This powder blends nicely on the skin and gives a subtle luminous glow.

Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow in golden brown #06 (6.90€)- I wish I picked up few more shades of these because this cream eyeshadow is so good! It lasts all day on the lids and easy to swipe on the eyelids. Golden brown is such a nice bronze color that reminds me of Maybelline's Bad to Bronze cream eyeshadow.

Smart lipstick in #913 Rosewood (3.90€) : This lipstick is so cheap but performs well. It has a very creamy formula and very pigmented. It's not very long lasting but I don't mind re-applying since it doesn't dry out lips. The scent reminds me so much of MAC lipsticks. I got this in the shade 913 which is a really pretty rosy mauve pink color that suits my skin tone.

You're not allowed to take pictures inside but I snapped few before someone told me about their store's regulation. Bad tourist! :D Anyway, I'm very satisfied with these products. I'm glad to finally try the brand because so many bloggers rave about them. KIKO Cosmetics have an online store but unfortunately, they don't ship to Canada yet. Oh well, maybe someday!
