A Lip Perfector and a Lip Balm

Along with eyeshadows, lip products are my favourite part of my make-up collection. Right now, I'm all about having healthy looking lips. I feel a great deal of physical discomfort whenever I have dry lips, forgetting my lip balm when I'm outside the house is such a nightmare. You know when some people forget their cellphones? That's how I feel like when I don't have a lip balm with me. So, finding some good quality lip products that I could carry around with me all the time makes everyday life a little better, just kidding. But really, a simple thing like this makes a difference in your everyday routine right?

Clarin's Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector became an instant favourite of mine. One word I can promptly think to describe this lip product is "sweet", not because it tastes sweet but because it feels so gentle on the lips and has a delightful scent. It has a soft non-sticky formula and has a subtle glossy finish which are the reason why I really love this lip perfector. I have the shade  Rosewood Shimmer 06, it's a brownish nude colour that works on my light medium skintone but it will definitely look better when I get a tan in the summer! Right now, I'm in between NC 25-NC30 (MAC colour reference). This product though is not meant to fix your dry chapped lips, leave that job alone to your favourite lip balms. But it definitely gives such a pretty glow on your lips and it feels luxurious. I plan to buy more of these in different shades, it's quite expensive at $20 each but I think it is worth the price.
Another lip product I am currently in love with is the Burt's Bees Tinted lip balm in Hibiscus $8.99. I was so disappointed with the Burt's Bees lip balm in Coconut and Pear that I recently bought and I'm glad that this was an absolute love. It has an amazing pigmentation for a tinted lip balm. Be careful of applying without using a mirror because it could get messy. It provides an instant relief when you have dry lips, I like to use this alone when my lips aren't smooth. The peachy color of this lip balm is so perfect for spring and summer. This is a really nice substitute when you don't want to wear lipstick but want some color on your lips. My best-friend uses this too in a different shade and swears by it.

That's all for now, I have one more exam to go this week! I can't wait to be in a complete vacation mode atleast for a couple of days or weeks,  there are books I really want to finish reading.
